Blackpool City Guide

The city of Blackpool has a wonderful fame as a summer vacation resort. Families visit this northern Lancashire destination, all tempted by the Tower, the Pleasure Beach, the trams and all the prominent Golden Mile can offer its visitors. But, this resort is extremely popular during the whole year, because it changes from the outdoor summer port to a wonderful winter wonderland.

The Pleasure ‘Beach’ is a little of a misnomer for it is not a beach but one of Britain’s leading theme parks, pulling in roughly 6 million guests annually. Home to the highest big dipper in Europe famous as The Big One,
also there are approximately 125 attractions in this outstanding playground. New rides are often added and the new stomach-turner popular as ‘Infusion’ comprises an unbelievable five loops. Riders are hung with their feet swinging on this ride and, as if its memorable sister the Big One is not for the fearful!

Also, there are abundance of many other attractions, shows, and rides at the Pleasure Beach like Hot Ice, which will appeal to the travelers seeking for more calm entertainment. Not far from the Golden Mile, you will find is the Tower that, together with the Big One runs the Blackpool skyline.
