The World's Brightest Flashlight

When you want to buy a powerful flashlight, a trip to the corner drugstore to buy the cheap low power variety is not going to do the trick.
Flashlights, like all lights, have beams that differ in intensity depending on the make and model.

The amount of light that a flashlight puts out is measured in "lumens". A lumen is scientific measurement of how much light is emitted by a light source.

To give you some perspective, a 60 watt lightbulb is about 850 lumens.

Low cost, low quality flashlights produce about 30-60 lumens, and as you probably know from experience, they only illuminate the ground a few feet in front of you.

This isn't very helpful if you want to go on a camping trip and have any desire to walk around outside your tent or trailer at night - or even if you want to walk across your back yard at night without tripping.

However, you don't need to go out and buy a spotlight that can light up a stage in order to get a more powerful light at night.

There are some powerful flashlights being manufactured these days which are thousands of lumens.

One of the most powerful flashlights on the market today is the Vector Power on Board HID Spotlight, which lights up the night with 3,500 lumens and is marketed by Black & Decker.

In fact, it is one of the brightest HID (which stands for High Intensity Discharge) flashlights on the market today.

The Polarion Flashlight has 5,200 lumens - but it costs more than $2,000. That's a lot of money from a flashlight considering that the Vector Power On Board is also blazingly bright and costs less than $100.

At under $100, the Vector Power on Board may be the most powerful flashlight for the price available anywhere.

It also is rechargable and a charge lasts for over an hour. It has 70 minutes of runtime after being charged up for just two hours. It can be plugged into a typical wall outlet or into a car's cigarette lighter, using an adapter, which makes it ideal to take on camping trips

And with the power of its beam, it can illuminate your back yard or a long distance in front of you in the darkest woods.

It also has a white light, unlike traditional halogen lights which have a yellow tinge to them.

The Vector Power on Board HID Spotlight is so bright it can be used to scare off wild animals on a camping trip - if you shine it in their eyes they will be temporarily blinded. And if you're searching for something in the dark - you won't find a better ally than this flashlight, which will light up the darkest corners of the night.
